The Silicon Desert continues to flourish!
Hungry, curious minds from all over the world gathered in the Phoenix valley for the 2015 Global Scrum Gathering brought to you by the Scrum Alliance. If you’re newer to this, Scrum is a popular software development approach and this gathering is one of the major conferences of all things Scrum (and Agile). Feel free to check out Scrum Alliance if you’re interested in learning more.
To use the words of my generation, we’re stoked to have been a Platinum Sponsor for this year’s event. Axosoft is an agile development software, so sponsoring this event was pretty much like having your favorite band play live at your birthday party!
Just a week ago we launched a campaign that we are so proud of: #ItWasNeverADress. We rolled it out at the Girls in Tech Catalyst Conference (also in Phoenix, see what I mean by Silicon Desert?). The home-grown campaign features the universal symbol for “women” — commonly seen on restroom doors — and spins it around to reveal the superhero that was there this whole time! The buzz from this campaign was palpable at Scrum Gathering!
We also got plenty of folks asking about Axosoft the software. For those curious faces, Axosoft is an agile development tool primarily for software developers (and it has a knack for working for teams who go beyond software development). We are the tool that manages some of your major Scrum or Agile artifacts which include:
- Backlog management
- Release and Sprint management
- Burndowns and Projected Ship Dates
- and more!
If you’re more visual, then it starts here with backlog management:
Then progresses here to release and sprint management:
and finally onto our lovely dashboard of metrics:
